António took the lead in establishing REPSSI in Angola and has served as the country representative since 2012. António has worked in community and social development programmes since 2001, focusing on training, project planning and monitoring and evaluation (M&E). In the public sector, he has been a psychologist for the National Institute of Children and a social advisor for the Secretary of State and the Minister of Social Action, Family and Promotion of Women.In 2020 António joined the Early Years Fellowship, a World Bank Professional Development Programme on Early Childhood Development, and is working as Short-Term Consultant for Angola and Sao Tome & Principe. António holds a Bachelor’s Degree in School Psychology from Universidade Agostinho Neto, Angola and Master of Science in Psychology from Walden University, United States. He undertook a professional course in Psychosocial Support for Children and Youth at the Golda Meir International Institute, Israel, and Understanding Autism at the Open Learn University, UK.
