Kaumbu is a partner at Messrs Lloyd Jones & Collins, a legal firm. Prior to this, He was a Senior Associate-Commercial Litigation at Chibesakunda & Co where he advised a broad spectrum of both individual and corporate clients and undertook all litigation. Kaumbu also performed company secretarial functions.He is Board Chairman of Afya Mzuri, an NGO established to assist both private and public sectors to conduct HIV/AIDS risk assessments, develop HIV/AIDS workplace policies, design and implement HIV/AIDS workplace prevention and wellness programmes, and design systems for monitoring and evaluating workplace activities, provide up-to-date health information, education and communication materials.Kaumbu is also the Board Chairperson of the AIDS & Rights Alliance of Southern Africa (ARASA) a regional organisation committed to fostering a human rights based approach to HIV and AIDS in the region.Kaumbu is a consultant with particular expertise in rights based approaches, law and policy review, organisational governance, training in human rights, law and HIV/AIDS.He is a legal resource person for Mount Makulu Baptist Church Constitution Review Commission.
Sebastian works as a health and social development consultant. He has over 34 years’ experience working in the health and social development field, focusing on management of health and social care facilities, organizational and staff development, social research and project/programme evaluations, mental health and psychosocial support for children and other vulnerable groups, and community mobilization.During these years he developed and managed partnerships at international, regional and national levels. In addition, Sebastian has extensively been involved in developing strategic plans and training manuals.Sebastian has also trained organizational staff, caregivers, youth and children at international and national levels in advocacy, psychosocial support, health care quality assurance and management.He does volunteer work with older people and their grandchildren and provides technical support to older people’s organizations.
Mary Simasiku Chibambula
Mary is a public health specialist with over 25 years’ experience in implementing health and HIV/AIDS programmes with a focus on primary health care including nutrition, early childhood care, development and education, adolescent sexual and reproductive health and orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) programming.She has also over five years’ experience in a senior management position where she has provided oversight to all CARE Zambia’s health and HIV/AIDS programmes.Mary has extensive skills in the use of participatory methodologies and community mobilization.
